About G.E.N. VTWe are a group that aims at starting a conversation amongst different generations about their views on gender equality. We also aim at providing resources for students, parents, and teachers. Our hope is that through these conversations we can gain a better understanding of different generations views on a gender equality and turn that into a documentary. We use these conversations to better our list of resources that we've gathered. Feel free to email us with any questions, either by going to our contact page or by emailing us at [email protected]

This film was created by a group of teen film makers based in Vermont. In this exploration of gender inequality in the educational system, we delve into the stories of teachers and students to better understand where gender stereotypes come from and how we can better our educational system to represent students of all identities. Also, out now is the first film in a series of shorts that help explain topics related to gender equality., you can check it out on our blog and our youtube channel, @Gen 2018.

One of our group members previously worked in a group that made this documentary. It looks at LGBTQ+ from the viewpoints of parents, teachers, and LGBTQ+ youth themselves. The groups mission was to better school environments, in Vermont and around the world.

The group also made this documentary the year previous to one above. Although similar, this documentary looks at the struggles of transgender and gender non-conforming students in schools and how the gender binary affects schools.
